ONSITE HISTORY
The idea of ONSite Medical Response started on Canada Day 2012 when Trevor and his friend Meghan were providing volunteer first aid at a Canada Day event in London. As they were enjoying the day, they discussed the idea of partnering up to start a business. Since Trevor had previously run the Red Cross First Aid Services Team in London and Meghan had experience at events doing security, they were prepared and willing to give it a try.
On August 12, 2012, ONSite Medical Response was born. In the first few years, ONSite provided care at several events, including the Run for Ovarian Cancer, the Terry Fox Run and the St. Julien Park Community Festival.
Since then, the team has gone from the original 3 members (Meghan, Trevor and Tim) to a team of more than 25 people and working at dozens of events across Southern Ontario. The team has provided care at Pride London, the Caledon Fair and Canada Day, St. Jacobs Farmers' Market as well as many fundraising events.
2020 year has been a different year for everyone, including ONSite. While we have had no events to work at, the team shifted gears quickly and has been running 24/7 for months providing COVID-19 screening at Ingredion's London site.
While we can't be sure of what will happen in the future, we are sure that ONSite Medical Response will be there, ready to help when needed.
